Suzuki Indonesia has released a teaser of the new Suzuki XL7 facelift ahead of its official debut at GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show, which will begin on July 29, 2026. The teaser shows the SUV’s massive silhouette along with its front fascia, featuring LED headlamps and fog lamps. While the official details will be revealed on launch day, the SUV is expected to feature a newly-designed grille and all-new alloy wheels.
Inside, the new 2026 Suzuki XL7 facelift is likely to receive significant feature upgrades. It could be offered with a new digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, Head-Up Display (HUD) and a 360-degree camera. Most other features will be carried over from the pre-facelift model.
Same Engine & Gearbox Options
Under the hood, the new Suzuki XL7 facelift is expected to feature the existing 1.5L naturally aspirated K15B petrol engine, generating power worth 103bhp and 138Nm of torque. The same engine will also be available with mild hybrid technology. Transmission choices are likely to include a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed torque convertor automatic.
Will New XL7 Influence the Maruti XL6 Facelift?
Suzuki XL7 is one of the popular family SUVs in Indonesia, and it’s closely related to the Maruti Suzuki XL6. Both models share the Heartect platform and engine. The facelifted XL7 is likely to showcase changes which could also make their way to the India-spec Maruti XL6. Reports suggest that the Maruti XL6 will receive an underbody CNG tank in India, similar to the Victoris.
As of now, there is no official confirmation on the new Maruti XL6 facelift launch timeline. However, it’s expected to arrive by the end of this year.
New Maruti Brezza & Baleno Coming Soon
Meanwhile, Maruti Suzuki is also gearing up to launch the Brezza and Baleno facelifts, which are undergoing extensive testing. The 2026 Maruti Brezza facelift is expected to be offered with the Fronx’s 1.0L Boosterjet turbo petrol engine and a new 6-speed manual gearbox. The subcompact SUV is expected to come with slightly improved styling and feature enhancements.
The 2026 Maruti Baleno facelift could feature a revised front fascia along with minor design updates. Mechanically, the hatchback is expected to remain unchanged.
