Times News NetworkKanpur: Deputy police commissioner (East) Satyajit Gupta conducted a foot inspection of Dada Miyan Masjid and Makhdoom Shah Alaa Dargah Sharif to review security arrangements for the upcoming Makhdoom Shah Alaa Dargah Sharif Urs Fair.On Saturday, Gupta, along with additional police deputy commissioner (East) Shiva Singh and concerned police officers, carried out an on-site inspection of Dada Miyan Masjid, the Makhdoom Shah Alaa Dargah Sharif premises and the surrounding area.During the inspection, the team reviewed security arrangements for the urs/fair, routes for the movement of devotees, crowd management, entry and exit arrangements, traffic arrangements, parking, lighting arrangements and surveillance through CCTV cameras.Gupta directed the concerned officers to complete all necessary arrangements on time during the urs/fair, giving top priority to the safety and smooth movement of devotees. Instructions were given to ensure adequate deployment of police force and continuous monitoring at crowded and sensitive locations.
