BENGALURU: More than 25 vehicles, including several luxury cars, were gutted after a massive fire broke out at a car garage in Bengaluru’s Thanisandra area in the early hours of Monday.The incident occurred at around 5.30 am and quickly spread through the garage, engulfing the parked vehicles before firefighters brought it under control.Five fire engines were deployed to douse the flames.Preliminary findings suggest the blaze may have been triggered by a short circuit. However, police said the exact cause would be determined after a detailed examination of the site.“More than 25 cars were completely gutted in the fire. The SOCO (Scene of Crime Officers) team will analyse the scene and submit a detailed report to ascertain the exact cause,” a senior police officer said.Police have registered a case at Sampigehalli police station, and further investigation is under way.
