SRM Global Hospitals in association with SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre recently organised a one-day national workshop on the latest imaging innovations for the diagnosis and treatment of complex gastrointestinal disorders.
Over 100 gastroenterology consultants, postgraduate trainees, academicians, and faculty members from across the country participated. The workshop focussed on developments in gastroenterology and minimally invasive therapeutic procedures, with special emphasis on advanced endoscopic ultrasound applications in gastrointestinal diagnostics and treatment.
R. Jayanthi, dean, SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre and Vinay Dhir, chairman of the India EUS Club inaugurated the workshop. V. P. Chandrasekaran, chief operating officer and Swaminathan, medical superintendent, SRM Global Hospitals were also present.
