Minister for Commercial Taxes and Registration D. Logesh Tamilselvan on Sunday (June 14) distributed welfare assistance worth ₹1.09 crore to 313 beneficiaries during a function held at the Rasipuram Block Development Office.
The Minister also inaugurated two completed scheme works — a sub-health centre constructed at ₹45 lakh at Kalankani panchayat in Puduchatram panchayat and a block health centre constructed at ₹65 lakh at Manickampalayam in Elachipalayam panchayat union.
At another event at the Namakkal Corporation, the Minister distributed welfare assistance worth ₹11.81 crore to 515 beneficiaries, including ₹11 crore in bank loans for 111 women’s self-help groups.
