Kia Carens Clavis EV Crosses 1,100 Units In Corporate Fleets

Kia India has announced that the Carens Clavis EV has crossed 1,100+ units deployed in corporate fleets since its launch in July 2025. Adding to this momentum, Kia India has announced 100 Carens Clavis EV fleet deployment for Refex Mobility, with the first batch handed over at a ceremony held in the presence of Kia India leadership.

The Kia Carens Clavis EV, with its spacious cabin, technology, comfort and electric efficiency, is well suited to the evolving requirements of corporate and fleet mobility. Kia has also strengthened its EV ecosystem with multiple charging solutions and improved after-sales support, which further supports customers in making the transition to electric mobility.

The collaboration with Refex Mobility brings together Kia India’s electric mobility capabilities with Refex’s fleet expertise, enabling organizations to integrate EVs into their everyday mobility requirements.

Battery & Range

The Kia Carens Clavis EV shares its powertrain with the Hyundai Creta Electric. The MPV is currently available with two battery pack options – a 42kWh and a 51.4kWh – delivering an ARAI-claimed range of 404km and 490km, respectively. The smaller battery pack is paired with a front-axle mounted 135bhp electric motor, while the larger battery pack comes with a 171bhp motor. Both motor options offer a peak torque of 255Nn.

Kia claims that the Carens Clavis EV with the 51.4kWh battery pack can accelerate 0 to 100kmph in 8.4 seconds. The MPV offers four levels of regenerative braking via paddle shifters along with a steering column-mounted drive selector. 

Charging Options & Time

The MPV is available with 7.4kW and 11kW AC charging options. Using an 11kW AC charger, the 42kWh battery pack can be charged from 10 to 100 percent in 4 hours, while the 51.4kWh battery takes 4 hours and 45 mins. Kia also offers an 8-year or 1,60,000km warranty on the EV.
