A woman has shared her advice on dealing with corporate life after announcing that she is leaving her job. In an Instagram video, she spoke about simple habits that she believes can help employees avoid burnout and handle workplace pressure more easily.

The woman, Chichi Sharma, posted the video with the title, “How to survive corporate without losing your mind.” She said that since her last working day was approaching, she wanted to pass on a few lessons she had learned during her time in the corporate world.

She Shares Workplace Tips

“Next Friday is my last working day. So, I thought before leaving, it is my duty to tell you all how to survive corporate without losing your mind,” Sharma said in the video.

One of her biggest suggestions was to make full use of paid leave instead of letting it go to waste. She said employees should not feel guilty about taking leave, especially if unused days are not carried forward or paid back.

“If your company has given you 24 leaves, take it,” she said. She also encouraged employees to use floater leaves instead of leaving them unused.

Another tip was to understand common corporate terms and phrases. According to Sharma, using workplace language can help employees communicate more confidently during meetings and discussions. She suggested that instead of saying they have no update on a task, people can say “WIP (work in progress)” or simply respond with, “I will check and get back to you.”

Sharma also spoke about how employees are often judged by how busy they appear. “Never look free. Everybody is always looking at you,” she said.

She ended by talking about criticism at work, saying that employees should not take every negative comment personally. “People will always reprimand you. But you have to develop a thick skin,” she added.

Social Media Reacts To Her Advice

The video received several reactions from users, many of whom said they could relate to her experiences.

A user wrote, “samaj hi nahi aa raha” to “let me give you survival hacks” SO PROUD OF YOU.” Another commented, “So true and relatable.”

“I absolutely agree with mota chamdaa,” another person wrote.

Some users pointed out that taking leave is not always easy in every workplace. “But leaves are subject to manager’s approval,” a person commented.

Another user said, “Wish I’d seen this reel sooner.” Someone else added, “Leave lene ke baad bhi.. they expect to be available.”
