Ten teams have so far secured their place at the 12-team 2027 ODI World Cup set to be held in South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia.
On Wednesday, Afghanistan became the latest team to qualify for the Super 12 stage after a three-wicket win over Ireland in the third ODI.
Under the new structure, barring the host nations, the top eight teams in the rankings as of September 30, 2026 directly qualify for the Super 12s.
The winners of the ten-team Qualifier tournament and the three-team Super Series will take the remaining two spots.
