Berhampur: A 44-year-old migrant worker in Ganjam district’s Gudiali village who went missing in the flash floods in Surat is yet to be traced seven days after the incident. Swarajya Kumar Jena of Gudiali in Kabisurya Nagar block went missing in Surat on July 7 due to the surge in the water level near a bridge while he was returning home from his workplace . Some of his friends intimated his family members about the incident.Since then, Surat police, along with several other labourers of his village who work in Surat, intensified the search operation. But they could not trace him out so far, said Prasanna Kumar Jena, a relative of the missing person. He said several people of his village who are working in Surat have assisted police in the search operation. Some of his relatives have lodged complaints at Bamroli police station in Surat.
