Times News NetworkKanpur: Food security and drug administration team destroyed around 175 kgs sauce on doubt of adulteration in city on Tuesday.A team of food department under a special campaign raided the sauce andchutney manufacturing company situated at Juhi. The team found around 175 kgs continental sauce and 200 kg chilly sauce worth Rs 75000. After inquiry and investigation the team destroyed both products.Another team raided Vishal Bharat Industries in Jajmau area . Foodbusinessmen was not present at that time and no one provided anyinformation. The team seized entire premices .According to Sanjay Pratap Singh assistant food commissioner several teamsraided food centers at Dada Nagar, Dabauli, Sharda Nagar, Juhi , Rooma andcollected 13 samples of pickles, sauce and mustered oil and sent them tolab for examination.
