Chitradurga: Two separate road accidents turned fatal, in Chitradurga district, late Sunday night, leaving four people dead on the spot. In the first incident, naear Holalkere taluk, a truck crashed into a car, killing a couple from Chitradurga instantly. The deceased were identified as Lohith Prasad and his wife, Nityashree. A case was registered at the Holalkere police station.In another incident near Rampura in Molakalmuru taluk, a private bus struck the divider on NH-150A near Konapura village. The crash took place early Monday morning on the Konapura flyover, killing three people and injuring 20 others. The deceased were identified as bus driver Mohammed Yahia, 28, from Santegudda, V Ajay, 32, from Challakere, and BL Narasimhmoorthy from Bengaluru. Among them, Mohammed Yahia and Ajay died at the scene, while Narasimhmoorthy later succumbed to his injuries at Ballari VIMS Hospital.The bus was travelling from Bengaluru to Ballari when it rammed into the divider on the Konapura flyover along NH-150A. Rampura PSI Babulali visited the scene and registered the case.
