DMCH functioning reviewed: Darbhanga divisional commissioner Himanshu Kumar Roy on Monday reviewed the functioning of Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) at a meeting of the Rogi Kalyan Samiti. He directed authorities to make the hospital fully operational with all eight departments from July 1 by ensuring adequate doctors, paramedics, equipment and other resources. Roy also ordered round-the-clock functioning of the trauma centre, installation of CCTV cameras, better lighting, clean toilets and regular sanitation. DM Kaushal Kumar stressed ensuring availability of medicines to prevent patients from purchasing them outside.
