‘Devotion is key to knowing Lord Ram’

Gorakhpur: On the second day of the seven-day Ram Katha at Shri Gorakhnath Temple on Guru Purnima, Prayagraj-based preacher Acharya Shantanu Maharaj said Lord Ram’s character is boundless and every word of his story has the power to cleanse devotees of their sins.He said Lord Ram can be understood only through faith and trust, adding that skepticism creates obstacles in the path of devotion. “Faith should be as firm as a banyan tree,” he said, stressing divine grace guides saints and devotees.Drawing examples from Sati and Parvati, he said curiosity leads to resolution while doubt leads to destruction. He urged devotees to remain engaged in worldly duties while keeping their minds focused on God.
