Udupi: In a crackdown on illegal cricket betting, special executive magistrate and SP, Udupi district, Thursday issued an externment order against an accused.The accused has been identified as Bharath Jayaram Das,34, of Varamballi village in Brahmavar taluk of Udupi district.Three cases related to cricket betting have been registered against him at Kota and Kundapur police stations. He has been convicted in one case, while two others are under investigation.Authorities have extended their jurisdiction to Kengeri Police Station under the Bengaluru Commissionerate limits.
