Prayagraj: Three persons, including a couple, were killed and another suffered injuries when a car carrying them was hit by a speeding minibus near Bhiski village in trans-Ganga pocket of the district on Friday afternoon, police said.The deceased — Rakesh, 58, his wife Prabhawati, 56, and Shubham, 27 — were residents of Bhadohi.Police said the incident took place when the car carrying four persons, including three members of a family, was on its way to Jhunsi from Bhadohi when the minibus coming from the opposite direction hit the car, leaving all occupants injured. The impact of the collision was so strong that the car fell into a nearby gorge.Police took the injured to a nearby hospital with the help of villagers, where doctors declared three of them dead. Bodies have been sent for postmortem.
