The outfit clarified that it is not collecting any funds as part of the membership campaign.The organisation also reiterated that it has no immediate plans to enter electoral politics. “Adding one more political party will not be useful at this time. We will work at the grassroots level,” CJP spokesperson Saurav Das said.“We are launching a membership drive through our website. Students, young professionals and workers can join us to raise their voices unitedly, ” Saurav Das told PTI.Meanwhile, CJP co-convener Ashutosh Ranka said a delegation will visit student protesters in Jharkhand, where an agitation over alleged recruitment exam irregularities has entered its 13th day. Six demonstrators are currently on hunger strike.
