BENGALURU: A dramatic CCTV video from Karnataka shows the moment a truck lost control on a busy highway, it first crashed into a tractor and then veered across the median into the opposite carriageway, triggering a massive cloud of dust and debris across the street. The CCTV footage captures vehicles moving normally along both sides of the divided roadway before the incident unfolds within seconds. In the clip, a truck travelling on one side of the highway appears to collide with a tractor moving ahead of it. The impact sends the heavy vehicle out of control. Instead of remaining in its lane, the truck then mounts the median, tears through the central divider and enters the carriageway meant for oncoming traffic.All this creates a huge dust cloud in the area, reducing visibility for motorists approaching from both directions. The truck then can be e seen colliding with another vehicle on the opposite side of the road before coming to a halt. In a separate accident reported from Vijayapura district, three people were killed and 23 others injured after a collision involving a private bus and a goods vehicle, highlighting the dangers posed by heavy vehicles on state highways.
