BJD’s state general secretary Rudranarayan Samantaray, along with his supporters, formally joined the BJP on Sunday. Samantaray said he is embarking on a new journey by joining the BJP. “In 2019, I joined the BJD to serve people better, but found it challenging to serve the public effectively. I got inspired by PM Narendra Modi and CM Mohan Charan Majhi and joined the BJP,” he said.
