Madikeri: BJP faced a setback in Kodagu due to minor mistakes during the last assembly elections. Party functionaries must strengthen BJP without repeating the same mistakes, stated BJP state unit chief, BY Vijayendra.At a meeting with the district BJP functionaries and workers at Shanivarasanthe on Sunday, he said Kodagu was a model district for state BJP. “In the past, we lost both the constituencies due to a small mistake. We must ensure that this does not happen in the future,” he said. He called on party workers to further strengthen the Kodagu district BJP unit.He mocked that as the state govt is involved in corruption, it might see a third CM shortly after DK Shivakumar.He also alleged that corruption is rampant in the state and anti-people policies can result in the fall of the Congress govt at any time.He called on BJP workers to convey the administrative failure, mismanagement and lack of development of the state Congress govt to every household.Mysore MP Yaduveer Wadiyar said that the district is faced with numerous problems, including wildlife conflict. “The Congress govt has failed to provide permanent solutions to these problems. A plan is being prepared for a systematic struggle against the Congress govt in the coming days,” he said. He added that the workers should work honestly for the party to get more seats in all the upcoming elections.
