While Ather has not officially disclosed the reason behind the revision, increasing raw material and manufacturing costs are likely to be the primary factors. Similar price corrections have been witnessed across the two-wheeler industry in recent months.

The Rizta has established itself as one of the most practical family electric scooters on sale today. The value proposition, spacious ergonomics, feature-rich package and proven Ather ecosystem which the Riza gets are nothing in front of the minimal price hike which the scooter has now received.
