Hazaribag: A 25-year-old farmer died after his tractor overturned in Barkagaon block on Sunday evening. The deceased Gobind Mahto was a resident of Mahudi village in Kandtari panchayat. Police said Mahto lost control of his tractor due to a malfunction in its steering wheel. He died on the spot. “The body was handed over to his family members after postmortem examination,” Deepak Kumar Singh, the officer-in-charge of Barkagaon police station, said. Mahto is survived by his wife and two children.
