Mahindra & Mahindra has planned multiple new product launches for this year, including both ICE (internal combustion engine) and electric SUVs. However, two are among the most highly-anticipated and have been under testing for quite sometime – the new 2026 Mahindra Scorpio N facelift and the Mahindra Vision S. While the facelifted Scorpio N is expected to arrive by mid-2026, the rugged sub-4m Vision S SUV might debut in late 2026.

New 2026 Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift

Spy shots suggest that the new Mahindra Scorpio N 2026 will receive subtle design changes including a slightly redesigned grille, bumpers and air dam with horizontal slats. The fog lamp assembly with C-shaped surrounds and sporty LED headlamps are expected to remain unchanged. The SUV will also get newly-designed five-spoke alloy wheels and new LED signatures for the taillamps.

Inside, the updated Scorpio N will offer a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen (sourced from the Thar Roxx), a redesigned centre console with new stain silver surround and slightly repositioned vertical AC vents.

Under the hood, the new 2026 Mahindra Scorpio N facelift is expected to feature the existing 203bhp, 2.0L turbo petrol and 2.2L diesel engines. To improve its ride quality, Mahindra might equip the SUV with the ‘DaVinci’ dampers similar to the XUV 7XO.

Mahindra Vision S

The Mahindra Vision S will be the first production-ready model to feature the brand’s all-new NU_IQ platform. This rugged subcompact SUV is expected to make official debut in late 2026, followed by its launch in 2027. Similar to the concept, the production-ready version is expected to measure under 4,000mm and feature a 2,665mm long wheelbase.

Since Mahindra’s NU_IQ platform supports multiple powertrains, the Vision S is likely to be offered with petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric options. However, the hybrid and electric iterations could be introduced at a later stage.

In terms of pricing and positioning, the Mahindra Vision S will go head-to-head against the Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza and Skoda Kylaq. The upcoming rugged sub-4 metre SUV from Renault (Bridger) and Tata (Scarlet) will also expected to be rivals to the Vision S.
