Hisar: Two brothers were killed after their motorcycle was hit by a pickup van near Mirana village in Fatehabad district on Monday.The deceased, Karam Singh and Ranjit Singh of Plata village, were returning home after visiting the Ratia tehsil office for land-related work when the accident occurred.According to police, the pickup van, coming from the opposite direction, allegedly rammed into their motorcycle, throwing both men onto the road and leaving them critically injured.Locals rushed the brothers to the civil hospital in Ratia, where doctors declared them dead on arrival.Police have seized the pickup van and launched a search for the driver, who fled the spot after the accident. An investigation is underway.Family members said both brothers were farmers and jointly managed about 18 acres of agricultural land. They were married and are survived by a son and a daughter each. All four children are pursuing their studies in Australia.
