Hubballi: Global Business School (GBS), Hubballi, in collaboration with the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) – Karnataka and Keralam Chapter and ISTD – Bengaluru Chapter, organised the second national conference on “Emerging Trends in Finance: Risk, Innovation and Sustainability,” along with a free workshop on AI tools in research on Saturday.Inaugurating the event, Dr B Ramesh, HOD, Synergy Business School, Hyderabad, and national executive board member of AIMS, highlighted the impact of technological disruption on careers and stressed integrating technology with management education. He underscored the need for continuous learning, skill enhancement and personal branding.C Manohar, senior director-strategy and dean, ISBR Business School, and chairman, stressed the importance of networking, industry linkages and practical financial knowledge for career growth.MS Subhas, chairman, GC MBA, spoke on emerging trends in finance, highlighting hyper-personalisation in services and the role of cash flow forecasting in planning and risk management.Nandeesh V Hiremath urged students to invest in learning, foster entrepreneurship and collaborate for innovative solutions.The event drew 140 registrations, 89 paper submissions and participants from 47 colleges across six states, bringing together academicians, industry experts and students.
