Kalaburagi: Teachers of Sri Hingulambika Aided High School rewarded 11 top-performing students from classes 8, 9 and 10 with a free flight trip to Bengaluru on June 11. The tour was funded entirely by the school’s teachers in appreciation for the students’ achievements. For all 11 students, it was their first experience of air travel, making the trip a memorable reward. The students visited several landmarks in Bengaluru during the tour. They also explored the iconic Vidhana Soudha and gained first-hand insight into the functioning of the state’s legislative system. The initiative has drawn praise for encouraging academic excellence while giving students educational exposure beyond the classroom.
