The video shared on Instagram captured a tender moment between the baby elephant, whose name is Mangalam, and a caretaker at the Arulmigu Adi Kumbeswarar Temple in Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu. The young elephant, which had a tilak on its forehead and a garland made of bells, was seen completely at ease as the caretaker gently massaged its feet in the serene surroundings of the temple.
Mangalam calmly stood as long as the caretaker massaged its foot with care, seemingly enjoying the moment. Once the man was done with one foot, he tapped on its leg, and the elephant extended its other foot, cooperating with the caretaker and appearing to be requesting equal attention for both its feet.
