Nagpur: P Mohan, an industry expert and president of MIDC Industries Association (MIA), has presented a Vision Document 2030 for Hingna industrial area, while calling for the removal of administrative bottlenecks and accelerated infrastructure development.Mohan highlighted that a lack of coordination among departments and complex approval processes are delaying critical projects such as roads, sewage systems, and other infrastructure works. “Delayed clearances are discouraging fresh investments. Temporary repairs have worsened condition of roads, drainage, and street lighting, directly impacting micro, small, and medium enterprises,” he said. The document includes development of internal roads for heavy vehicular traffic, scientific drainage systems, modern logistics parks and truck terminals, uninterrupted power supply, expansion of piped natural gas network and granting industrial township status to Hingna MIDC. Strengthening the single-window clearance system, affordable housing, transport facilities, skill development centres, emergency medical services for workers, upgrading effluent treatment plants and green belts are also inlcuded in the plan.
