Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his greetings on Independence Day, remembering the freedom fighters whose “courage, sacrifice and unwavering commitment” helped end colonial rule. He said their dreams continue to inspire the country as it works towards building a “Viksit Bharat”.
PM Modi said India, “powered by 140 crore Indians”, is scaling new heights of progress across sectors and expressed hope that the journey would continue “at an even greater pace” in the years ahead.
