Jhansi: Police destroyed 890kg of banned drugs and contrabands having a market value of Rs 5 crore confiscated during various raids in the past, on Monday.SP city Preeti Singh said that the confiscated drugs were destroyed in an incinerator under the supervision of the district drug disposal committee chaired by SSP Jhansi BBGTS Murthy at the Medical Pollution Control Committee Centre at Bijoli Growth Centre.The disposed contrabands were confiscated during fourteen raids in the past, said police.
