400-bed hospital to strengthen healthcare infra in Hinganghat

Wardha: The 400-bed hospital being constructed in Hinganghat will become an important healthcare centre for rural citizens in the surrounding areas, said gram vikas and panchayati raj minister Jaykumar Gore, on Monday.He was speaking after performing bhoomipujan of the new 400-bed hospital building in Hinganghat. Guardian minister Pankaj Bhoyar, minister of state for health Meghna Sakore-Bordikar, MLA Samir Kunawar, Hinganghat municipal council president Nayana Tulsakar, district collector Vanmathi C, chief executive officer Parag Soman, and other officials attended the bhoomipujan ceremony. Facilities including MRI, CT scan, dialysis, ICU and NICU will be available, enabling patients to receive advanced medical treatment locally. Gore also announced that Ajnasara temple, which currently has ‘C’ category status, would be given ‘B’ category status. He directed that the proposal for the upgrade be sent immediately and announced 5 crore it’s development.
