A Zillow employee has shared a frustrating experience after being laid off shortly after receiving a strong performance review. The worker said they had received a 4 out of 5 rating and positive feedback from their manager before learning that their job was being cut.
The employee shared the experience on Reddit, saying the situation made them question how much performance ratings actually matter when a company decides to reduce its workforce. The post also included advice for other professionals about staying prepared even when things at work seem stable.
A Strong Review Was Followed By A Layoff
