The recovered stolen necklace
Vadodara: The detection of crime branch (DCB) has arrested two women for stealing a gold necklace in the city. The duo diverted the attention of a woman around 12 days ago by engaging her in a conversation and stole a gold necklace worth Rs 83,000.Cops said they received a tip-off that the accused were seen on Harni Road following which they nabbed the duo identified as Meena Vaadi, a resident of Gandhinagar and Daksha Salaat, a resident of Ahmedabad. Police officials recovered the stolen necklace from them.Vaadi is a history-sheeter who has 11 offences like theft and cheating registered against her in various police stations across the state.
