Bank manager in Bengaluru calls fake call centre number, loses Rs 2.4 lakh
Bengaluru: A 32-year-old-manager of a private commercial bank in Channapatna, Bengaluru South, fell prey to cybercriminals who siphoned off Rs 2.4 lakh from his account.The victim told police that on the morning of May 6, he booked a resort in Sakaleshpur by paying Rs 19,000 through Agoda (a digital travel platform and online travel agency)….
