JALANDHAR: Jalandhar based RTI activist Simranjit Singh was shot dead near Lovely Professional University, Phagwara on Saturday fore-noon. He was shot at from close range. Kapurthala SSP Gaurav Toora said that two bullets pierced through his head. Police recovered a .32 bore pistol lying near him and a 12 bore rifle in his Fortuner vehicle….
