For the registration process, it is mandatory for candidates to upload their admit card on the portal, and an OTP-based verification will be conducted to ensure the authenticity of the registration.“Candidates should note that the free travel facility is available exclusively for competitive examinations. Mere registration on the portal does not guarantee eligibility for free travel. The ticket will be issued by the conductor only after verifying the candidate’s eligibility for free travel based on the admit card,” state guidelines issued by RSRTC for the initiative.Officials said that the roll numbers of registered candidates will be integrated and synchronised into the master database of the Electronic Ticket Issuing Machine (ETIM) used by conductors, to ensure that conductors have access to updated and registered data. A real-time data verification will be done by the conductor at the time of issuing a ticket.“When issuing a ticket under the ‘Competition Exam’ category, the conductor will enter the candidate’s roll number into the ETIM based on the details provided in the admit card. The roll number entered by the conductor will be automatically cross-verified against the ETIM master database. The ETIM machine will issue tickets only to candidates who are valid and registered,” added the official.Candidates with invalid or unregistered roll numbers will be treated as ticketless passengers and will have to pay the full fare to travel.Officials said that for the registration process, candidates must visit RSRTC’s website and open the ‘Pratiyogi Pariksharthi Panjiyan Portal’ and register by entering details related to their examination.
