Instead of keeping the location secret, he decided to share the view online and viewers could not stop talking about it.
Traveller Shares Stunning Sight
The video was posted on Instagram by Scott, a travel creator who regularly shares adventure clips from around the world. In this particular video, he filmed himself hiking while carrying his toddler safely strapped to his back.
As he smiled at the camera, Scott said, “Have you ever seen a lake above an ocean? Well, here you go,” before turning the camera around to show the landscape behind him. What appeared on screen looked almost unreal.
A calm lake sat high above steep cliffs, while far below, huge ocean waves crashed against dark rocky shores. The contrast between the peaceful lake above and the rough sea underneath quickly caught people’s attention online.
People React To The Unusual Landscape
The location was surrounded by giant cliffs, cloudy skies and open views that made the entire place look like a scene from a fantasy movie. Many viewers admitted the height alone made them nervous.
Several people joked that they were happy Scott stood so close to the edge so they did not have to. Some users also pointed out the toddler on his back, saying they were more focused on the child than the scenery itself.
