Moving to a new city often means more than just packing boxes. One tech professional recently shared how expensive it was to begin a new chapter after relocating from Bengaluru to Hyderabad for work.
In an Instagram reel, the man, who says he works at Microsoft, broke down every major expense involved in the move. From rent and furniture to appliances and daily essentials, he explained how the costs quickly added up despite already owning a home in Bengaluru.
He Shared The Full Cost Breakdown
The video was posted by digital vlogger Krish, whose Instagram bio says he works at Microsoft. He explained that he and his wife recently moved from Bengaluru to Hyderabad because of his job.
“Here’s how much it cost me to start a family from scratch in Hyderabad,” he wrote. He added, “Recently, my wife and I moved from Bangalore to Hyderabad for my job. Even though we already own a house in Bangalore, we had to start over in a rented home. My wife also made a big sacrifice by leaving her job in Bangalore to move with me.”
Krish said they rented a 2 BHK apartment in Hyderabad for Rs 30,000 per month and paid a security deposit of Rs 60,000. He then listed other expenses, including furniture, home appliances, fitness equipment and other household items needed to set up the new home.
By the end of the video, he revealed that the total relocation cost came to around Rs 3.6 lakh.
