COIMBATORE: All teacher vacancies in govt schools in Tamil Nadu will be filled soon to ensure that students’ education is not affected, school education and information & public relations minister Rajmohan said on Thursday.Addressing reporters at the Coimbatore International Airport, Rajmohan detailed various ongoing reforms in the school education department in the current academic year. He noted that in line with chief minister C Joseph Vijay’s vision, the govt is continuously working to ensure world-class education for govt school students. Along with upgrading school infrastructure, efforts to establish digital technology facilities and modern laboratories were under way across the state, he said.The minister said the information & public relations department is being modernised to ensure that govt’s welfare schemes and achievements reach the common man seamlessly. He appealed to the public not to believe fake news in social media and baseless rumours surrounding the education department. He warned that strict legal action would be taken against those spreading rumours that gamble with the future of students.
