According to Asianet News reports, Shahid Kapoor received the highest remuneration among the lead cast members. The actor is reportedly receiving nearly Rs 35 crore for ‘Cocktail 2’. Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna, meanwhile, reportedly received around Rs 15 crore each for their roles in the film. Reports also suggest that ‘Cocktail 2’ has been mounted on a budget of around Rs 80 crore.

The film marks another collaboration between Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon after ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ which released in 2024. Reports indicate that the trailer for Cocktail 2 could be released during the first week of June.
