The trailer of Naseeruddin Shah and Jim Sarbh’s upcoming series, Made in India – A Titan Story was unveiled by the makers on Tuesday. Written by Karan Vyas, directed by Robbie Grewal the show is adapted from Vinay Kamath’s book Titan – India’s Most Successful Consumer Brand.

The trailer gives a short glimpse into the show where Shah plays JRD Tata and Sarbh plays business man Xerxes Desai. Tata is driven by the goal of building India’s first watch and vows not to wear a watch till then. With his team, Desai takes on the task to make the watch brand which they name ‘Titan’. The series promises to be a hard-hitting period drama, recounting the story of how a bunch of passionate people built a watch brand that was completely made in India.

Speaking about the show, Shah said in a statement, “What fascinated me about JRD Tata was not just his vision, but the quiet confidence with which he inspired people to dream bigger than they thought possible. He had an extraordinary ability to spot potential and nurture it with trust, something that feels increasingly rare. Made in India: A Titan Story is not merely about building a brand; it is about people, belief, and the courage to back an idea when success is still uncertain.”

Sarbh added, “Xerxes Desai struck me as someone who was quietly rebellious, someone unafraid to challenge convention and imagine what didn’t yet exist. What I love about Made in India: A Titan Story is that while it speaks of ambition and scale, at its core, it’s deeply human, about persistence, instinct, and believing in an idea long before anyone else does.”

The show also stars Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Namita Dubey, Lakshvir Saran, and Kaveri Seth in pivotal roles. Produced Almighty Motion Pictures, Made in India – A Titan Story will be released on Amazon MX Player on June 3.
