Buxar: The body of a 60-year-old man was found in a field at Maniya village in Buxar on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Sitaram Thakur, son of late Moni Thakur and a resident of Chhatarpur village under Dhansoi police station area.Acting on information, Dhansoi police reached the spot, took custody of the body and sent it for post-mortem. The exact cause of death is yet to be ascertained.Dhansoi SHO Vikash Kumar said the cause of death would be known only after the post-mortem report is received. He added that police have launched an investigation and are questioning local residents while examining all possible angles.
