Suzuki posted a massive total of 1,42,985 units in July 2026 as the combined total of domestic sales and exports led to its highest ever monthly tally
Suzuki Motorcycle India sold 1,42,985 units in July 2026 – the company’s highest monthly sales total since it began operations in the country and registered a 26 per cent increase over the 1,13,600 units recorded during the same period twelve months ago. Its domestic sales carried much of that growth – rising 28 per cent to 1,23,216 units from 96,029 units a year earlier – also the company’s best-ever domestic figure for a single month.
Exports added 19,769 units as the numbers were up 13 per cent from 17,571 units in July 2025. The local sales made up close to 86 per cent of the month’s total with exports accounting for the remaining 14 per cent. The gap between domestic and export growth meant the overall increase for the month tracked closer to the pace of domestic sales than to the slower rate of export growth at 26 per cent.
Spare parts revenue also set a new record for the company by reaching Rs. 102.9 crore in July 2026 – a 23 per cent rise over the same month last year. Combined with the vehicle sales numbers, July showed new highs across different categories. Commenting on the sales performance, Deepak Mutreja, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Suzuki Motorcycle India, said
“July 2026 has been a landmark month for Suzuki Motorcycle India, with our sales touching an all-time high of 1.42 Lakh units. Every vehicle sold represents a customer placing their trust in our brand. We thank our customers, dealer partners and suppliers for their continued support and confidence in Suzuki.”
The company also ran two customer-facing initiatives during the month hosting Gixxer Pit Stop events in Prayagraj, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru that let enthusiasts test ride the Gixxer series and organised an Access Mileage Contest in Hisar where customers could check the scooter’s fuel efficiency for themselves.
The Japanese brand’s two-wheeler arm has operated in India since February 2006 from its manufacturing plant at Kherki Daula in Gurugram, Haryana. The plant produces 125 cc scooters, motorcycles of 150 cc and 250 cc along with Big Bike range for the domestic market. The Access 125 continues to be the company’s best-seller for a long time and its electric version was introduced a while ago.
